We understand what it’s like to live paycheck to paycheck. We will do our best to offer you fine dining quality food without the high prices and without the small quantities. We carry the most Trappist and abbey beers, from Belgium and Holland. When you drink the best, you drink less.
The ceiling might remind us of a Brussels train station.
The menu consists of a mix of simple yet sophisticated Italian dishes. In the summer when you won’t need your winter jacket, come enjoy the inside décor while enjoying the beautiful summer weather sitting near our open by-folding doors. Make Ends Meet strives to keep a high standard on our food and beer, while maintaining affordability for all.
Idiot on Merton
The lower level, Idiot on Merton might remind you of an abbot.
Much like the beer, the Idiot on Merton’s cuisine is Belgian and German centric. We have authentic dishes from both countries such as Belgian beer beef stew, moules et frites, duck confit, Belgian frites and a variety of schnitzels and sausages. There is going to be a relaxing feel to the Idiot featuring a pool table and backgammon all while enjoying the calming sound of the constant stream of the Manneken Pis water fountain of Brussels, and trust me, he won’t be putting out any fires.
